My son is scheduled to leave for RTC from Atlanta, Georgia, on March 12, 2014. Any other DEPpers with that date?

My son left from the Bay Area, California yesterday and arrived last night.  Was one of the hardest days of my life so far!  How are you holding up?

My son left Tuesday and arrived in GL Tuesday night. I cried after receiving his arrival call. He was my baby boy and I'm now an empty nester. I miss him so much and just worry that he won't feel encouraged!!

My tears have become less frequent since he left but they haven't gone completely.  I miss him so much.  The hardest thing for me is not being able to pick up the phone and talk whenever I want or he wants.  But I am encouraged by my friends who have gone through this and tell me great things about the man he is about to become.  They keep reminding me that the first couple weeks they are there, they get torn down, so his instructors can build them back up.  I know right now is probably the hardest for him but this too shall pass and it will be ok!  I can't wait to get letters from him!

You're recruit left on 3/12 & you have already gotten your box? my daughter left the 12th also.

My husband left the 12th. Didnt realize how hard this would be.

My son left from dallas on the 12th!
My son left from Columbia, SC on the 11th. Has anyone else received their "box"? I know one parent has received hers already.

I am guessing we should be getting it sometime over the next few days..I got my call at 0040 on Thursday so the soonest it could have been sent was sometime Friday. I am looking forward to getting a PIR date so I can go ahead and get my hotel booked. I can't figure out if it will fall on Memorial Day weekend or the weekend before and I am trying to decide if it would be better to drive or fly from Charlotte

I hope my son was in a Push division. I would love a May 2nd PIR date!! Did you receive his box as well as his form letter?

andysmom ~ That's great news!  My son was scheduled to go on the 11th but was delayed and is leaving today.  So I will be looking for the 'boy in the box' and look forward to the man at graduation! What journey it will be, and please let me know what to expect in the next few days and weeks!

That is awesome news! I sure hope I go home to the same news today after work!

Got my son's box and form letter today too! PIR date May 2nd! So excited!!
