Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 161 and 162
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Hi! so glad this is available! did anyone get any letters yet? we received a call yesterday, but was very short. Did anyone get more than 5 minutes.
I spoke with my husband yesterday as well. He's in DIV 162 and we spoke for 25 minutes. He said that he had received his letters and that they would be able to send their letters to us today.
I spoke to my son on Saturday for about 20 mins. it was a great surprise as I had not received any letters other than the form letter and because I didn't think I get to speak with him this soon. I am every excited to see him! he said he wouldn't get a weekend liberty did any one else get this message? he is staying in Great Lakes for A school.
got a phone call yesterday it was quick but my son sounded happier this week 32 more days!!!! I cannot wait to see him!!! we originally thought he be staying in Great Lakes but he said yesterday that may not be the case. :( which means little time with him. can anyone tell me why the pull wisdom teeth? my sons were in and not giving him any problems but they pulled them. any one going to the meet and greet Thursday before graduation? I look forward to meeting any and all of you... message me
They pull their wisdom teeth if it appears there may be problems in the future. It is better to have them out now then be out to sea somewhere with no dentist on board and a problem arise.
My mother who is 84 years old had a wisdom tooth out three weeks ago. In the last four months decided it was time to leave it's hiding place, make its appearance and cause problems. It happens!!!
my sons MOS is Gunners Mate all research I've done says he'll stay in Great Lakes for A school but when I talked to him Sunday past he said he might go to San Antonio Tx. which means no Liberty. :(
Still no phone call from my SR :( We have gotten two letters, but no calls.
