Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 139 and 140

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Thank you christophersmom, I was very confused and was hoping to hear from others with more information. It's hard not being able to talk to my SR, but lucky to talk to other SR moms. Once again thank!

My son wants me to find his bunkmate's mom on here.  Is there a way to do that without using last names?  He also wants me to find his friend's mom.  His friend is the second tallest guy in the division (my son is the tallest).  My son is in div 139.

safari, try putting the first letter of the last name of the SR's Mom you are looking for
Goodness! We are getting close! Really looking forward to meeting everyone! Wow what a journey. I send my son a copy of Sarge's Meet and Greet invitation.
Safari, my son is around 6ft tall and not likely to be the second tallest. It is very nice of your son to want you to connect with his bunk mate's mom. There is a community and lasting bond that our SR form and I do think that many of our SR appreciate the connection being form among us. It is my primary motivation for being part of the group. I am not a Facebook gal and it is difficult for me to reach out specially via posting, but I am step out of my comfort zone in support of my son. His boots are hurting his feet during long hours of marching...I can click away and reach out to all you fine folks. Big hug to all!
I got an hour phone call from my SR (ship 09 div140) today. The division is doing GREAT,has earned 5 flags and are top division. This coming Monday they will be doing fire fighting, then middle of week gas chamber. Very important test end of week and if you fail test no re-take. The following Monday starts Battle Station. Yes, pink eye is going around, and him and other SR are finally starting to feel better from other sicknesses.

Because the division is doing so good they earned to have music played. My SR said he didn't care what they played it just felt so good to hear music. They all talk about the excitement of seeing family, and very excited it's coming to an end.

Not much longer girls and we get to HUG are love ones.....GO NAVY

SO PROUD!!!!!!! And prayers for more success

Thanks for the update DebbieA. The last time I talked to my SR he wasn't sure about when Battle Stations was going to be. Saying prayers for all our SR's.

DebbieA - Thanks for all the news!

Thanks for the update DebbieA! Lots of good news. Sounds like they're doing well.

I didn't get a call this weekend from my SR in Div 139.  It's quiet here on the forum, so I am thinking that no one else got phone calls either ....

Thanks christophersMom!
