Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 925

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

We got a call too.  she is sick with a cold but other than that sounds great.

Hip hip hooray..... My husband called for the first time.... 35 minutes and lots of I love u's........ So so happy.....
How wonderful

Sunshine,

So happy to hear that you heard from him.  Our daughter called too and I was telling her about him.  She said I know him and called him by a nickname (not sure if they gave him the nickname or if it was his prior)  She said I think that he is on the phone talking to someone tonight but if not I will definitely tell him as soon as I get back.  Our daughter was in great spirits and other than having a pretty bad cold she sounds wonderful.  I am sure that you will sleep a little better now knowing that he is doing well.  :)

MommaB,

Please let you daughter know that I sincerely appreciate her.... Sorry to hear that she has a cold.... Hopefully its a quick passing thing and nothing major.... I have faith that all will be great... He did say that he's performing and he will be playing the cymbals... At another units PIR I think he said div 922... I was so excited to hear his voice I cried and couldnt compose myself long enough to hear the correct div. But yes he did say that its a coed unit and everyone is working well together..... Hugs to u....

I finally got a phone call!!!!  Got 2 letters on Wednesday and phone call came friday.  She is very upbeat and excited about boot camp.  Misses home but is enjoying what she is doing.  She's just as excited for PIR as we are.  To those who have not heard from the kidos  keep faith it will come

Good evening Ladies,

Hope everyone is dong good.  I have been reading post on the boot camp site and it breaks my heart to hear about their SR's.  Hoping all of our SR's are doing well and looking forward to another letter this week and a phone call would be nice, but after already getting two I wont be upset.  Our SR's are 1/2 way thru their journey and looking forward to seeing them on 5/2.  Keep in touch.

MommaB

Hi MommaB,

Thanks for the positive energy. Yes, definitely looking forward to PIR. Hoping for another call. Enjoy your evening.

Hugs to all.

Best,

Sunshine

I am starting a new job and wont be able to watch the two PIR performances that our SR's will be in during the weeks leading up to their PIR.  IF you will be watching and could try to record or get some screen captures I would be ever so grateful!  Message me and I will let you know what instrument he is on and where to look for him.

Hugs ladies!!

hi all...my son is on ship 9 div 159, but his fiancee is on ship 2 div 925...i am happy to hear the women are doing well...i just got a letter from her today and she is doing great...i can't wait to see the both of them on May 2 at the PIR ceremony...i will be flying out with her parents...we couldn't be prouder of both of them....GOD Bless all of them and their families.

Welcome to the ship 2 div 925 group.  That is amazing that you have 2 SR's there.

MommaB

Good evening everyone,

Another Friday down, so very excited.  I am not sure, but I think that our SR's will start doing the PIR's come next Friday.  The only reason I say that is because Div 922 has been the group training our SR's and they graduate 4/11.  Keeping my fingers crossed because I would love to see our daughter early.  (if not to hug and kiss, at least to see her on the PIR viideo.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

MommaB
