Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 135 and 136

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I am nervously waiting on information and praying everything is going well for all of our SR's. One week from today it will be us on our way to PIR. Thank you all for you support along the way.

Same here!  :)

Simply feel blessed. Proud of my son. Thank you to every one on n4m for all the support and sharing. :)
LATE POST! Sorry, been swamped :-) 4/4/14 @ 12:14 (CA time) I spoke to our son for 27:53 min :-) forgive me if I am sketchy on the details because he caught me while shopping w/my 16 mon old daughter for the trip and I was so excited to hear from him that days later I am still recalling details of our conversation that I've yet to share with his gf & Father. Through his raspy voice (he said that many have been sick off & on) & background noise on my end:) believe he said Div 136 did battle stations late Wednesday which incl a fire drill. The divisions were anxious to try and achieve the captains flag (I believe it is a flag awarded to only 1 div & that div hosts a series of something ugh, I cannot recall the word he used:/). He said we should look for section/area 5 at the ceremony hall because that is where div 136 will be. I hope i don't ruin any surprises with my posts but he mentioned something about customized gear for us mommas :-) also, on Thurs they were trying to earn the privilege to go to Ricky Heaven. If I remember more I promise to post asap. This is my first "info" post...I wish I could remember more! But all you ladies hold a special place in my heart& I am forever indebted to you for all the awesome info, your encouragement& support. I hope to meet as many of you as possible although sadly I may not attend the Meet & Greet (my little one is getting her final 4 teeth in so she's cranky:)...but I sincerely appreciate each & everyone of you. I tell my son "I have dozens of friends now thanks to N4M!"...funny how much it means to our children when they realize we mommas have this type of support system. So, with that said...I pray for a safe & joyous travel for us all & hope to see you there! I will be hard to miss, just look for the woman with short dark hair and a toddler screaming notes about as high as Minnie Riperton & Mariah Carey (boy does she have a voice!)
VictorsMama :) thank you for all of the information! Hope your family makes it to the M&G. Safe Travels! Stacy

@victorsmama our sailors were all once cranky 16 month olds and can appreciate what you are going through. Please try and at least stop by if you can I would love to meet your family, cranky 16 month old and all. Safe travels all.
