Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 153 and 154

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

yes ladies the mail came today. she passed her academic with the 4.5 out of 5 he passed her drill inspections. He passed all her other inspections last week she said she shot a nine millimeter pistol it felt cool but she doesn't like gunsshe loves my letters every day and she wants me to send some more pictures. She wants a picture of her room to see what it looks like. Little does she know I haven't touched it since she's left and I will not until she graduated boot camp. She talked about her check as well in that her money went totaxes and uniform issue she said that taxes suck lol welcome to the real world. She spoke of the girls on her laundry team she loved working with them and she is confident the day will pass Jul inspection this past Monday.she said they can wear mascara and lipgloss that complexion that's what she wants me to center. She said they took their graduation pictures but if I was to see her hair I would have a heart attack. Oh yeah she asked for a real comb and brush lol.she said me feeling proud was the best feeling in the world. today is a good day.we are almost there ladies let's keep those prayers going she said they

It's great to hear some good news!  I just got done reading 2 positive reports....one from a son; one from a daughter.  That's a good sign in my book!!!!

I can't wait for the next two weeks to fly by so I can meet everyone on here and hug my son!

Begin praying for this Saturdays Captains cup... my girlfriend said that her husbands division won the cup and was able to call home that day :))))

All right 153/154 you guys and gals rock. I say they get it from their momma's and lizziebears honey get s it from her! Cant wait to do my dance to the happy song when that call comes in. Still waiting on my letter should be here tomorrow. I cant sleeeeeep. And I have to get up at 5am. Sweet dreams ladies

So excited and nervous for our SR's. I don't know about you guys but I am so emotional right now. Guess it's the wondering and waiting but I feel like I could just cry at the drop of a hat. Anyone else like that? It's kinda like when they first started.

Holy cow, after ready everyone's posts for days and days I FINALLY figured out how to post back!! Now I hope I can figure it out on my tiny phone. I am over the moon excited for our soon to be Sailors! I am so unbelievably proud of my Daughter (and everyone's soon to be Sailor) that words just can't describe! I read posts every day and just get all teary, with a mix of missing her being so gosh darn proud of her. It's so nice to be a part of this group and know that I am not alone in my feelings and fears. I love the posts about letters and phone calls. My Daughter also said Ship 11 Div 154 is doing great! I so can't wait for the 'I am a Sailor' phone call!! My phone is attached to me at all times, and I can sooooo relate to the 'boot camp greys' I always 'brag' about not having a speck of grey...NOT ANYMORE!!! Thank you all so much for your posts, they mean so much to so many and I have learned so much from all of you!! THANK YOU!!!

Has anyone gotten the "i'm a sailor" call today? i'm very anxious because our son called Friday to say he failed his PFA run by 16 seconds and if we didn't hear from him by Wednesday not to come for graduation. We are dying with the need to know...

Hello, my son Johnny was on Ship 11 Div 153 and PIR was 4/25/14.  It was amazing and I am still getting used to being a proud Navy mom.  He just arrived at A school this morning in Virginia and wanted to connect with other moms from this division.  We sat with a couple also from Northern CA who took pictures of our son and their daughter was also in this Division.  Hoping to get to know you more.  Kristi
