Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 191 and 192
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Hey everyone! My son is in Div 192. By now he is probably known as "that really tall guy". :) I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you as our guys train together! I'm in West Virginia, where is everyone else from?
I am in Pennsylvania. Hope our SR's are doing well!!
Hi All - My husband is also in Div. 192 and we're from Oregon - just wondering, has anyone received any letters yet? When I spoke with my husband (briefly) on Saturday morning - he said that he would be sending them out. Just wondering if anyone has received one yet?
I have only received the form letter, but am hoping to get a letter soon. My son called on Monday the 14th because he needed some info for his direct deposit, but that is all I have heard from him. He got to call his girlfriend Saturday the 19th - she told me he sounded good! He told her he was going to write letters on Sunday.
Hi everyone! My boyfriend (Matt's.mom 's son) is in Div 192, so I was just looking to meet some other people going through the same thing I am! Hope I get to know you all better in the future!
Hi All.
Just wanted to let you all know that I received two letters yesterday from my husband - as well as my military ID information. It truly made me smile. 43 days.
I received 2 letters yesterday! Yay!!! He said they were a good group and working together well. Anyone have any idea what training day they are on?
Nvymom3: My hubby said he could really use a hug. It broke my heart. I think they definitely miss that kind of contact - especially after being yelled at all day.
Hey Ladies,
I got a phone call from the hubby today - which was great. He, like everyone else, sounded just plain tired. He did tell me what day they are on officially - so 2-2 (tomorrow will be 2-3). He said that they have their first real test coming up, so all of them are preparing for that. Not too much longer!!
Oh, and I forgot to mention - they are making their division flag this week :] He said a couple of guys have put something together, and they are gonna decide sometime in the next couple of days. At least they have SOME kind of creative outlet there :]
