Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 177 and 178

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Good Morning Everyone! Would anyone from Div 177 like to reserve a table at Sarge's meet and greet? From what I am reading you can get there at 4:45 and put a sign on the table to reserve it. I am willing to do that if anyone else would like to go. Hope you all have a great day!

I would.

I would like that too.

Scheryl & Anneliza..sounds great..please tell me how many you have coming. :)

I have 6 coming, 4 adults , one toddler and one infant.

There are 4 of us.

Letter from our SR today had a more serious, even fatigued tone.  I quickly wrote a reply and photocopied the back two pages of the latest Consumer Reports, the goofy ads and offers that readers send to publisher. Maybe a memory of simpler times at home will cheer him for a moment. I guess we're all in the same shoes now.  I was gong to write, in the same boat, ha ha ha.  The waiting gets tough.  sigh

I got a letter today, this is his second letter. He said it is getting better for him, there were no complaints like I got in his first three weeks there. He said he is a Yeoman , his rating is ET however, I am glad he is adjusting to his new life.

How about writing your SR a letter at 0700 Sunday?  That way you can be writing at same time as your SR, or pretty darn close!

Great idea. Thanks proudmom.

Hello everyone! I haven't gotten a call in 2 weeks from my SR. But the last letter that I received he sounds like he has changed and matured so much!! I am so proud of him and cannot wait to see him. Everyone is telling me how much he change from being in boot camp. My husband just found out that he will be able to take off and go with me and I am so happy about that. I was worried having to go out there by myself. I cant wait to meet some if you at the meet and great. I will get there early and try to reserve a table for Div 177/178. If there as any that haven't responded and would like for me to add you to those that are going please let me know how many. If you would like to have my cell # please friend request me and send me a private message.

I replied on the Facebook page but will let you know there will be six of us. One is a two year old and one is an infant. I don't want to stand a chance of being left out. Thanks for doing this!!
