Pat (MP) - So glad to meet a Mom from the ship!  If you would like to send a package or pillowcase, that would be great! Maybe you could let the other Moms in your ship's group know what we are up to.  They could join in!

Hope the link works, it is a recent article on the USS Wayne E Meyer

Count me in too!  I have some left-over-from-last-year 4th of July items that I bought on clearance just for this year so I'll include those in my box.  I have crazy star sunglasses, some things that can be hung for decorations and I think there are some red, white & blue star napkins I'll just add to the mix.  I'll know better when I have gone through my "stash"!

Since there won't be a Special Hugs mission this month, I'll refer Moms from SH to this discussion.

Donna - Thank you! Sure to add to their fun celebrating.

I actually have some pillowcases sewn, so I will count the up......  I will also send a box of something else...not sure what yet!

valeriejean - Thank you for sending a box and pillowcases too!

How is everyone doing?  Found some red/white/blue items at the dollar spot at Target.  Let's include some fun, patriotic items for them to celebrate 4th of July!!!  Planters has a red/white/blue nut mix too.

I asked the contact for clarification on coffee beans and this was the reply...........There are coffee enthusiasts out here.  They eat beans, have grinders and love coffee.  I have a guy in my shop that eats chocolate covered coffee beans as well, it's funny that you said that. (I had asked if they ate the chocolate covered espresso beans for the caffeine).

How is everyone doing with their boxes?

Anyone found some unique red/white/blue for the sailors to celebrate 4th of July?  I have found things at the $ store, Targets $ spot, JoAnn Fabrics and Hobby Lobby.

Hope everyone had a nice Father's Day weekend!

Soon it will be time to start shipping our packages!

I just returned from Sam's Club. I found a busted box of Twizzlers that were marked down (I'm not sending the box so it doesn't matter to me if it was busted! I saved $5 off the cost) I also bought some cashews and peanuts. I'll check my stash and see what I else I have to send and get you a final box count when I ship them.

Sounds great Kim!  I know they will love it!  It's great to come upon deals like that!
