For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 205 and 206
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

MariaFaith my husband is just like yours E-3 hospital corpsman same division! We are from Florida! No call here either. But I read in the group they went into radio silence which means no calls just letters. Which I'm hoping to get one today. Is any one flying into ohare in the evening I'm getting in around 1945 hours (7:45pm, trying to use military lingo as much as possible :). and staying at or near the navy lodge maybe we could share a taxi (or call this Sarge everyone seems to be talking about) would love to meet some other spouses :)

He did say there are other Corpsmen in his division :) I received my military ID app form last Tuesday and there was a note from him just saying he is okay and he does not know when he can call again. I'm hoping to receive letters today too. I usually receive it Thursday but it was holiday last monday. I still do not know yet how am I gonna get to Navy Lodge on June 19 Thursday morning.

Good Morning everyone.... Was hoping one of the moms from Division 206 would win the Tuesday Trivia so I could see a picture of our sons Division. If you can go to FB US Navy RTC page and try it. Its everyTuesday morning and if you win they take a picture of the Division.

I got letters yesterday and after I read the letters my sailor (Div 205) called. He said two of them were given an hour call as their reward for doing great in folding their clothes and fixing their bed. My sailor is better than me in folding our clothes and fixing our bed lol. We talked from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm. He said about 8 of them will graduate late because of failing the PT and one got into trouble twice already(kinda loud and won't stay still). He said the one who got into trouble cried and hugged him. But the ones who failed the PT will still be able to comeback and graduate on time if they do good. He said they have not done the gas chamber test, maybe next week and he does not have any idea yet about the battle stations 21 test. I am praying for everyone in his Div. I hope they all make it on time.

I got an hour call too!!! And a letter got a short call last night as well. He is the EPO and the the guys did well on their last test so proud of him! But not surprised since he was a teacher for 7 years before he decided to join.

Thanks. He said they are going to the NEX tomorrow and they might be able to call but he said he is not sure so he asked me to not expect but always hold my phone.
