My son left Seattle, WA on 6/10 for Navy Boot Camp. Anyone else on here leave at the same time? Wondering if anyone may be on the same time frame as I am? Thanks-Donna (Proud mom SR)

Medical Documents? Hearing his voice must have been nice though.

Glad you got to hear from him though gasman1423.  that is what I am waiting for.  I have plenty of letters to send just as soon as I get that address.  It will be nice to know that possibly some of the people that I am talking to will have sons in the same division, since we all left for BC the same day.  But my son said that he would be placed in a Push Division....??

I got the box today. Bittersweet, all his belongings...hoping for the letter soon

lpap,

Glad you got it thought....it is a little bittersweet, but Im so glad its moving along as the forum keeps telling us it will.  I like when I can guestimate things based on others experiences.  I am hoping the letter will arrive by Thurs.  I don't know.  did your son have any musical skills?  I can't remember if it was you or another mom that was asking about the 900 division.

omg, you received your form letter today??!!  I cannot wait to get home and check my mail!!  i will let you know when I find out his division.  so excited for you.;0)

Me too loud and proud- It was so heart wrenching. It's still sitting on the couch. :(
I ripped it open just for the "boy" smell. Typical contents clothes, shoes, phone and 52 cents. And his boarding pass and paperwork.
I received the form letter too. PIR set for 8/1
No form letter for us yet. We got her address from her recruiter, but I'm a little hesitant to send anything from what I've read online. Hopefully letter will arrive soon and then I will know the address for sure.

I set up a Go Fund Me account to get to PIR, if anyone can help or share it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you LP-P http://www.gofundme.com/aet7g4

Hi , Thank you for sharing, My Son Left for BC the same day from Jax FL. I received a call, so happy he is doing fine. His ship is 02 division 939.
I wonder if any one else Son's is in this division.

Thank you again for sharing. :))

Have you received the form letter and box yet? He's musical then? I was wondering if my son might say he can play guitar, bass & the piano but he was advised not to mention it because they have to do a lot of rehearsals and he needed to focus on the study portion.
