Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 225 and 226

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

No news is good news. Keep the faith ladies our recruits are almost through 33 days to go.  Beginning this week when I write my son I am planning to send a second piece of mail in the envelope with a * in the corner to indicate that this is an envelope for my son to give to one of his ship mates that is not getting mail.  I worry about the recruits that are not getting all the support from us at home.  As for the Mom who's son is only writing the girlfriend I know the feeling mine wrote his GF a 10 page letter and I got a couple sentence note.  Boys ugh.  Just keep writing them and being supportive maybe send some jokes and stay positive.  Happy Sunday I prayed for our division 226 in church today.

I just got a call ship 13 division 226

We just got a call from our son also....division 225!!  He sounds really good. We got to talk for about 20 minutes.

Ok we get two calls in two days....how lucky are we?  Today my son called his girlfriend yesterday he got to talk to his dad.  Anyone that got a call today...were they at the exchange again or just calling from the RTC?

My son said they were at the nex

My son has called twice this week, he passed inspection and the swimming test.  He seems to be getting in the groove of the workload and is starting to talk about graduation and A school which is a good sign.  He said there are other recruits that their Moms are on the NavyforMoms site so it is working lets stick together.  I am a little worried about the visitation time we have a split family and everyone wants their time with him.  It should be interesting and I hope it all works out.  If anyone is familiar with the area please provide recommendations about the area what to do and the best roads to travel etc.

Hello everyone My son is in Div. 226 ship 13

I officially love Thursdays! Got another letter from my son in 226. He completed and returned a questionair I sent. He named two friends. One starting with a G from NY and one starting with a L from Florida. PM me if you think these are your boys. When asked what he needs, he said letters. When asked what the 1st thing is that he wants to do and he said "be in the SUN!!!".

Hello Everyone,

My son is in Div 225.  Nice to meet everyone.  Just hearing info from other moms make me feel like I can get a little glimpse of my very own son.

Does anyone know of any sailors who don't have family coming to PIR I wanted to adopt a sailor or am willing to help out some way.
