My son is leaving on July 8th. I'm a mess of emotions. I try to keep them hidden from him but it's hard. I hug him every chance I get and tell him how proud I am of him. I got married and had him at 19, so I've never really been an adult without him. I hate feeling so sad when I know he's doing such a fantastic thing. I don't know how I'm going to let him go. So many different emotions and I'm having a hard time coping. :'(

PSV - Yes, the form letter includes address, PIR date, names of people in list for PIR, and password to print gate pass for PIR.

okay thanks! i can't wait to get mines! I've been so anxious and stalking my front door the past couple of days. where do you live if you don't mind me asking? cause i live in california and several people who's son have the exact same timeline as my fiancé have already received their box and form letters. i'm scared his got lost or something especially because my fiancé cell phone will be in the box! I know he didn't send it to his folks because we lived together before he left so all of his information is in our address and his parents are in the process of moving so they do not have a permanent address right now.

I live in Colorado and got my letter and box today!

hopefully that means the letter and boxes are slowly making their way to california as well! you must of been so happy and excited when it came! maybe your son and my fiancé is in the same division (:

I did cry but was relived! Fingers crossed you get the box and letter tommorrow! Keep us posted if you get it!
We live in Nebraska, so quite a bit closer to GL than you. Our son's cell was in the box too and it was fine. Hoping you get yours tomorrow! Hugs to you!!

@hmarie3 i just got the box today! your prayers must of worked!! hoping the form letter comes soon too so i can start sending my fiancé the letters I've been writing him i already have 8 to send!

CINDY Same ship, divison and graduation as my son! I also booked my hotel today as well.

Does the letter give you hotels to book at?

It includes a family brochure that has hotel names/numbers. We booked at Navy Lodge (which is not in the brochure)as I saw that quite a few others booked there and had a good experience.
We booked at the Residence inn at the Marriott. The
brochure has lots of options. We got a room with a kitchenette.

Still waiting for box-a week later. I wonder if anyone else is this late? I live in Wisconsin. Weird for being so close.
