Hey ladies!
I have once again found myself in a dilemma. As i said in a previous post, my husband is being stationed in Norfolk, VA. I have already done my self counseling for the HHG shipment. I just cant seem to get in contact with anyone about the travel advance request. I spoke with the finance office in Great Lakes and they told me the forms I need but said that since my husband is not in A school on that base they cant process any of the paperwork. My husband is currently i Fort Lee, VA for A school, which is an army base. The finance office and every one in PSD keeps telling us they only deal with army paper work. I have called EVERY number I could find for the PSD in Norfolk and I have either not gotten an answer or got connected to someone who cant help, doesnt want to help or doesnt even know what I am talking about.
If ANYONE has ANY information. Please help. We are moving Aug 10th. Time is NOT on my side here.
Thanks in advance!

are you moving yourself or is the Navy? For information about moves you need to call the Personal Property Office not the PSD office. I think if I remember correctly on the move information it should have the contact information for the personal property office where your shipment is going. like Kiley said I have heard as well they aren't doing advancements if you are moving yourself. Now as far as I know there is still a dislocation allowance which is a different thing and must be applied for separately. Its like a single check mark on your move.mil stuff but idk where it is for sure since the PPO had to do our move for us because his orders were messed up.
