We Stitch Love is already working on pillowcases! My new favorite jerky is Bacon jerky so I will get some of that to send along with some of their other requests!
Thank you for getting us started!
Started packing......have 3 boxes started........beef jerky, power bars, granola bars, water enhancer, licorice, and puzzle books!
Great! The crew is so ready for our boxes of love!
This adoption is very close to my heart so I'm on board!
I saw that Hobby Lobby had white bandanas, the 22 x 22 size, for .99 cents. I will check it out on Monday. Hopefully I can find a few coupons too!
Laura-That sounds great! Please let us know how many you get.
1st time doing this.. will microwave popcorn be okay to send? Also, does it matter the quantity of items that I am sending? thanks.
SusanB - Yes, microwave popcorn is great to send! The quantity of items is not limited. Send as many or as few items as you want. It's good to have you joining us!
That's great to hear! My son who is in B.C. left behind a case of boy scout microwave popcorn.. (eagle scout.. could never get enough). Now I know where I can send some of it too! :)
One suggestion for the popcorn - get the kind that pops in its own little bowl. If you send regular bags of microwave popcorn send a few paper coffee filters to use as bowls. Makes it easier to share.
Laura - Thanks for that suggestion. Paper coffee filters are easy to pack too.
the coffee filters are also great for covering food in microwave so it doesn't splatter; to dust their boots; and a million other things.
