OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Check your My Page. I left info there for you.

Son shipped to GL THE 30th, waiting on box to bring details. We got the scripted call about midnite on the 30th, would love to be a fly on the wall

The Form Letter arrives by regular mail separately from "the box."

Thanks!, any pictures from the weeks at boot camp- like the shaved head hair cut?

You can attempt to win a pic of your recruit tomorrow and every Tuesday.  The PAO has a weekly Trivia Tuesday contest on https://www.facebook.com/NavyRecruitTrainingCommand. This is an opportunity for you to win a photo of your recruit's division with your recruit front and center in the photo. That is the only way to see what is happening before PIR. If no one wins, then the PAO MAY post random pics of various unidentified divisions.

William, check your My Page.

I received the letter for her graduation September 19th. Anyone see any pictures for div 297 ship 11

janet, there is info for you on your My Page. No photos for that division, but you can try next week.
