Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Son arrived BC July 30th, box came yesterday, waiting on the form letter. Is it possible he could graduate the 19th, crazy.
Is there a significance to the 800 division.
Looking forward to PIR and meeting these great young men! -

WilliamSP, 800 divisions are for those recruits with a contract in a special ops rating. See 800 and 900 Divisions for additional information. Those who arrived on the 30th, a Wednesday, are more likely to have PIR on 09/26/2014 than on 09/19/2014. See Arrival and What Happens at the RTC.
You still need to change the URL to your My Page since your last name is visible when ANYONE puts their cursor over your profile pic or Username. Check the comments on your My Page for more on that.

Got my letter today ship 2 Division 946 PIR is 9/26, and it can't come soon enough!! I need to see my baby's face again!!

Mine did too and we got ours 6 days after he left. Did anyone get their form letter yet? Still waiting/stalking my mail lady. Please help me calm down. LOL

For those of you in this discussion, many of you have recruits in an 800 division; it's not a good idea to post that. See the info in 800 and 900 Divisions. If your recruit has a contract for a different rating and I have not already given you the info on the rating, leave a comment on my My Page and I will reply with the Rating Information Card, groups related to "A" School and/or the rating, and info to help you plan better for PIR.

Still no letter! I miss my boy! Can't wait to get the date for PIR. So we can make plans! So excited for him and everyone on the awesome journey!
