My son just got his date to leave for BC in October 2014. Haven't seen any posts since 2013 on this board. Looking for others that are finding there way here with same dates?

Hi all! My daughter leaves Oct. 29th 2014.
So glad to see more activity in our group! October seems far away, but I know it will be here before we know it. So far, I have been just been reading posts (stalking as another mom put it!) but I am looking forward to getting to know all of you! My son is leaving in early October and is very excited about his decision and this new journey. This site has such a wealth of information. I appreciate all of the women who so readily share their joys, fears, and disappointment with one another and offer such valued words of comfort and support. For the Moms that are sharing their knowledge and experience with the "rookies," Bless YOU! What a gift to have this resource!! Hope everyone has a wonderful day :)
I left info for you on your My Page about "A" School and groups.
Hello. My daughter is leaving for BC in Oct 2014 as well. I just joined the site a couple days ago and learning my way around. I joined a couple groups that admin recommended along with this group today. Hope to meet a few more people on here.
I left info on your My Page.
Mine, too. The 28th of November would be the ninth Friday. Since they arrive on a Thursday, it may be difficult to predict! For now, just trying to enjoy time with him every chance I get! So very proud and excited for him.
Which MEPS location leaving out of 10/2?
By counting 9 Fridays, PIR is most likely 12/05/2014, but since your future Sailor will be arriving on a Tuesday, PIR could also be 11/26/2014 (a Wednesday since that is the Thanksgiving TG) if your future Sailor fills a division from the week before. You will just have to wait on the form letter to know for sure. See Arrival and What Happens at the RTC.
