This not knowing anything is killing me! Is he okay? Is he happy? Is he hurt or miserable? Well and the empty house and lack of noise!
I saw on the recruit Facebook page some pictures of the recruits and a lot of them were smiling. That helped!
I read on the Survival Guide for Navy for Mom Newbies that they send the letter out the end of first week, I guess technically that would be Wednesday but of course I thought at first that was last Friday so I wanted to run home from work real quick!
I live in North, Texas.
How are you holding up? I figured end of this week and this weekend will be the hardest. Today is the longest I have gone without talking to my son Devon, and the end of the week will be the longest time without seeing him.
Mark's mom just posted on Texas moms that she got both today.
I feel ya.. on all of that @nanracycart ... I can honestly say I have NEVER missed hearing his Punk Rock music until now.. LOL!
I keep thinking when he can call. Will he call me or his Dad or his Girlfriend.. I'm guessing at 19 and he believes she is the LOVE of his life she will get most of any phone time he gets. I keep trying to remind myself I was there once also... I didn't know they have a facebook page. I guess I will have to try to find that.
I can not wait until I hear from him again... I pray that all our Kids are hanging in there..
