I'm sooo upset right now! I just called The Navy Lodge for their address to print out map from airport. Only to be told that when my husband booked 2 rooms last month they only gave us one!!!! And sharing a room with Ex-husband is Not an option!!!!! Ugggg! We are leaving Wednesday at midnight.l I so don't need this right now!!!!!!
Interesting.
Is Navy Lodge the closest to the base? Wanting somewhere within walking distance so that we can be at our hotel and our sailor can walk his girlfriend to our hotel at the end of the evening (since neither will be able to drive our rental car). Is that possible?
The Navy Lodge is not within walking distance. The Navy Gateway Inn and Suites is close to the barracks since he is staying in GL for training. See the info in Saving Money PIR Weekend.
Does anyone have a phone number for the Navy Lodge? Also the Residence Inn which one is it? I have searched and located two different ones (two different addresses) not sure which one provides the discount and is closer to RTC.
Thanks!
The contact info for the Navy Lodge is within Saving Money PIR Weekend.
We stayed at the LotusSuites hotel. We had a one bedroom suite, with 2 tvs, a sofa bed, and table for eating or playing games and frig/microwave. It was $100. an night for navy rate. It wasn't super fancy, but it was clean and the staff was friendly. We also liked that it was a little farther away, but an easy drive. My sailor wanted to relax with the family and it was nice for that. The drive to base took 15 min. Hope this might help someone.
***Would anyone recommend Holiday Inn in Libertyville or Courtyard Marriott in Weukegan?????
Hello - can anyone recommend the Days Inn Great Lakes? I have reservations and want to make sure it is ok.
Thank you

I left info on your My Page.
