Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 291 and 292

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi.  Are you oing to make it to PIR?

Yes!! :). Are you?

Yes!!!!! I'm so excited!   I love the count down at the beginning of this group.  Our son is leaving for A school the night/early morning, but we aren't leaving until the 22.  I am hoping to catch a game at Wrigley field on Saturday.  And get pizza.  I went to Chicago for my 16th birthday and have been wanting to go back ever since.

My son is in ship 14 div 291...he will be staying in Great Lakes for "a" school.

Hi there! My son is in ship 14 div 291 and he will be staying in Great Lakes for "A" school also. I'm getting excited for PIR!

Hello, my son is div 292 ship 14, He will also be staying in great lakes. I am excited for pir but nervous about the travel and if I will get lost trying to find my hotel from the airport! haha! I have heard other mom's talking about other mom's kids they know from their kid.....sorry, that's confusing....but I haven't heard anything from any other mom about my kid. I guess there are a lot of them. I hope my guy is doing o.k. and making some friends. worry worry worry!

girl64, my son is ship 14 div 292 as well, and we will be going to PIR.  We got to talk with him last week and he sounded great, said his division is coming together.  He was SIQ for 5 days from having his wisdom teeth pulled, but said all was good :)  our SR hasn't really talked about other people in his division only one or two, one from TN he thinks which is very strange bc he's always been really social

My son is is ship14 div 291 and will also be staying in GL for a school ;)

Our sons are in the same division. I'm getting excited for him to go through battlestations and PIR. I'm sure he can't wait either lol

Where are you from? He mentioned a few places that his good friends are from ;)
