Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 313 and 314

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

The brother ships are going incognito. I don't think any of us has heard anything.
And thanks mikes mom for the web site
Hopefully they will break radio silence soon! Haha!
Phone call!!!!!!!!!! My heart is at ease. :)
We got ours too. Well, his girlfriend got the call but whatever, at least someone heard from him, haha! He is apparently pretty sick and spends a lot of time sleeping. Hopefully he doesn't fall behind and get his PIR date pushed back!

ugh...that stinks about being sick. G said he hasn't been sleeping very well but eating good!!!  :)

Gayle, did your son give you any info on what they are doing now? Apparently ours said they are doing some PT, but it sounds like he does PT and sleeps. Have they done their PFA yet or started any classes?

I asked stupid mom questions like are you eating good and sleeping ok?  lol   I don't know what PFA stands for (I need to learn the acronyms). He did say he did good and had a pretty good time in running, swimming went ok and he told his dad that they haven't started classes. Their division has dropped to 83 down from 86. They have inspections this week. My husband said he couldn't believe they knew about it. :)  When he was in, inspections were a surprise.  I hope this helps ya some. I feel clueless. I was just so happy to finally hear his voice I was tongue tied.  lol  He was kind of hard to hear too. I got tired of asking him to "speak up" and "excuse me".  I  hope your son calls you next time. He also did say we should have some letters coming.

Thanks! That does help! PFA is the physical fitness assessment, where they do the running, swimming, push ups, sit ups, and something else, I think :) I hope he does too, his gf told him he had better call his parents next time. Haha! I wasn't at all surprised that he called her this time, she really needed the phone call, so I'm glad that he did. As long as he calls us next time, haha!

I thought that's what it was. So yes, they have.  :)  Are y'all flying or driving to PIR?

Oh definitely flying. We live in California. But we'll fly southwest so if we have to make a change, it will be manageable. Where are you from?

Kansas...we are driving. It's only a 9 hr drive for us. We will leave Thurs some time. We drove to CA back in July. We were in the San Jose area.  lol  We didn't know about the boarder patrol.  They stole my Washington cherries.  :(

How many phone calls do they get? My son has called his girlfriend twice but has yet to call us, it is very frustrating for us. it was his sisters birthday and he still called his girlfriend. Anyone got any suggestions or know how many calls he gets?
