For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 311 and 312
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Received my first call yesterday from my daughter, Div 311. It was so great to hear she is doing well. She been appointed R-POC to her division and says that it's a lot of responsibility and she takes a lot of hits for it but she thinks she can handle it. So proud of my girl! Can't wait for 10/3!!!

hello my son is in divison 312 looking foward to seeing im at grauduation, this site is great support for all of those who have loved ones in boot camp, we rec. about a weeks worth of letters, i laughed i cried great to hear from him

My daughter is in 311 and I received a letter from her today and she told me she hasn't gotten a letter from me in 2 weeks I send a letter or card every other day this makes me so sad!! Could they be holding her mail mamaimail mail?

Asharae, my daughter is in 311 also and she said she gets mail everyday. I don't think legally they can hold mail, they can only take away things that they aren't supposed to have there. That makes me sad for you and your daughter.

we finally rec our phone call from our son so great to hear his voice, he sounded upbeat, we also rec another packet of letters, it was like christmas!! God Bless all our saliors anf their familes, we all wait for days like this when they come no words just joy!!

16 1/2 more days until PIR!!!! Starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel!!!
Prayers for all our SR that they continue to be strong, come together as a division and lean on each other for support, also that they pass all their tests coming up!!!!

Good Morning "NAVY MOMS" my daughter sent a letter saying she got her classification and instead of going to A school for 9 weeks she is only going for 32 days. I asked her chief at her recruiting center what this means and he was very concerned that she was able to change her job...did anyone else have a change in their job??
