Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 323 and 324
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Hi Navy Families of PIR 10/10/14
Some of you may have seen a conversation between other moms, in a different PIR date, on Navy For Moms regarding a gift basket auction at Sarge's Meet and Greet. I thought this would be fun for us to do as well, if we can get enough families to participate. I believe the idea was to make a basket specific to our state or locale. The proceeds will go to Sarge and his wife for hosting all of us. This would just be on top of our donations for the Meet and Greet in appreciation to them. I think if we could have at least 10 families say yes to participating, this would be enough to "go" with. We will need to set a monetary limit to spend on making the baskets, so I will wait to hear your response:) I am signing up to make 2 basket right now:) Anyone who cannot or does not wish to make a basket, can feel free to bid on the baskets;) A suggested minimum for the Basket is $20. If anyone wants to do more that would be awesome.
Thanks for any involvement!
ps. Mine will be "Imported from Milford, PA & Washingtonville, NY & a Teen basket also"
sounds like fun. just need some examples of gift basket. and can we carry them on the plane? Mine would be from LA, CALIF.
Hi Vic'sMom
You could do a basket representing California, (ie souvenirs, tshirts, something LA is known for),
Other ideas
tea basket, coffee basket, wine basket, beach basket. reading basket, craft basket, Navy, Military, anything that catches you fancy, Since you will be flying it may be better to get items you can put in your luggage and then assemble in Great Lakes. It does not have to be in a basket you can put it in a bag. I think I will ask each donator to just list what is in the basket since it may be hard to see if in a bag. It is a fun activity and will help out Sarge.
My son is in Division 323 as well! We are from Humble, Texas.
My son is in Div 324, Would love to hear if anyone in that DIV has mentioned anything about their Guidon. He happens to be my SR! He has given me several names of friends, only one have I connect with through this same FB page! Anyway, Hi ALL, so glad to be connecting with you!
