For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 303 and 304
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

According to my daughters letters---they are doing very well---they had their 2nd PFA tests and went thru Hell Week and Marlinspike---They get their Pictures taken tomorrow and getting ready for TEST 2-----I have not heard anything negative about the group--so I will assume all is good and they are working as a Team....Have you heard from Ashley?

Yes I always say more than one woman in an office is too many. They need to remember thet they are a team. There's a lot of hormones in their division. Some are bound to not get along. LOL I will be excited to see them at graduation. What state are you from stephsmom ?? I'm in Charlotte NC..

That's awesome. We don't mind driving we are just getting back from a Sedona trip so it will be fun!. We are staying at the Navy Inn just off of base. My husband is in the military so he didn't have a problem getting a room. I think it cost $40 a night. we've stayed in Armed forces inns all over the country!. LOL. Sarges meet and greet it is the first time I have heard of this?? What is it??

Yes I have heard from.Ashley. She is very excited to get to her next school A school. She writes every Sunday. She's probably one of the older of recruits being almost 24. She said the girls tell her she looks like Demi Moore. I asked like GI Jane or A Few Good Men?? I'm so excited to see her in a couple of weeks. I know they've all worked so hard.

Any word on Div 303. We were on vacation and haven't heard anything. Still planning the 800+mile drive tomorrow. I'm sure Ashley did not call because we were away.

I haven't heard anything yet either. My son is in 303. He wrote last week that they would do Battlestations on Tuesday/Wednesday. After reading different discussion, the BS is overnight and they don't get processed until early afternoon. So hopefully we hear this afternoon.
