Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 359 and 360

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi Lori, Hope all is well, I just wanted to let you know that I finally was able to talk to my SR yesterday. I was so excited to talk to him, and yes I did miss his first call. That same day that he tried to call me, he called his brother and his dad only to be disappointed that no one answered his call. He says he's doing great, and he sounds great too!! He is so excited for graduation to be able to see us who are attending. I can't wait either. Such a proud mom :D

I'm so sorry I haven't responded sooner. I'm so happy you got to hear from him yesterday. We're almost halway done!! That's a bummer everyone misses his first call, but glad you got the second!
Geri, I sent you a friend request.

I accepted Lori :)

Sent you a message.

Hopefully he will call soon.  They get holiday routine on sundays   so they do get time to write  most of them will write.  When my oldest was in bootcamp 2 years ago I would send him a self addressed stamp envelope so all he would have to do was drop me a note  I also sent him a questionarre and I got more info from that questionare than his letters home.  I basically wrote my own letter and he filled in the blanks  or circled the appropriate answer  I would try and make some of the questions funny with multiple choice answers for example, my RDC is ________  we like to call him _______   my bunkmate is _______  He   a. Snores   b. Is a nice guy   c. Not sure he doesnt speak much  d. Makes me wish he was on the other side of the room.  Basically anything that makes him laugh .  I did the same this time around with my younger son Brandon. He got a kick out of it .

My name is Jasmine and my son is in div 360. I also have a son who has been in the navy for two years. I started making My PIR ribbons for the Div. if you interested, they came out really nice I can Make one for you guys too, since they are in the same DIV. Here are pics of them 315 was from my first son
