Hello to all  the strong, amazing women out there, who have mariners in their lives :) It passed 2 months since my boy got on his first ship and we are not talking often, maybe once in a week or once in 10 days.He activated his e-mail in their vessel system but unfortunately he doesn't receive my mails. The one who told me to be very occupied in such times was pretty right, thank you for the advice :) Aftter this short time I became stronger and realised sometimes desperation can make us gain success and make us better people :) Being a mariner's girlfriend or wife is not easy, but it gets us closer to the best kind of love-the unconditional one :) it's that kind of relationship when you give all your love, support, advice and know you may not receive much of it back...and still you keep on giving, cause true love can never end :) thank you for reading this testimonity of mine, god bless you all who are the light beacon in your sailors' lives :) ^_^

Many of the ships are very busy right now, with everything which is going on.  There is a good chance his ship is on Restricted COmmunications, aka "River City", and the emails are being held for now.  He may want to email you, but cannot at this time.  Do write some letters, they make take a long time to get there, but real mail means a lot to them.

Hang in there!  My husband spent a lot of time int he Persian Gulf, and all we had was letters.  It is not impossible to keep love alive.

what do you mean by "everything which is going on" :( I am not really infoormed,is there anything to be worried about?

Start watching the news.  If you have questions in general about what the Navy does overseas, or how they might be involved, I can try to explain some of it.  You don't need to be overly worried, but to understand what your sailor does, and why things may be the way they are, you have to be aware of international happenings.
