Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 359 and 360

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Yay! So glad you got a letter. Hopefully that call comes soon!

I hope so too. I cant wait to talk to him.. It's funny how he explained how things are so different there. lol. He said even the way he walks.. He has to cut the corners when he walks down the halls. I love it. :) He's learning so much. It's a good thing.

Definitely a whole new way of living.
Nothing from my boy today :(. I guess maybe tomorrow.
:-( I'm sure I won't get anything either. They all came in 1 day.
I finally got a letter today! 9 days worth of journaling... It was a tear jerker for sure, loved hearing his experiences and thoughts. Can't wait for November 7th

Very excited...I heard from my SR on Monday morning.   He sounded so different.  Happy, but looking forward to PIR.  I also got my first letter.  It arrived in time for my husbands birthday.  I could not believe how much he wrote.  I think it is probably the first letter he has ever written (outside school assignments).

Cannot wait to get on the plane. We fly in on Thursday morning, and home on late Saturday.  He is due to fly to Pensacola for "A" school.  Any thoughts on when his flight out might be??? I am wondering if we should switch our flight to Sunday.

My son should be going to pensacola for a school too.

THEY ARE CALLING! I just had a half hour phone call with my SR. He sounds great! He said his mail was kicked back so he had to resend it today. I'm a very happy mom right now. Aaaaahhhhh!

So happy that I got to talk to my SR yesterday :) He sounds so good and is doing great. He is going to Pensacola for school too. He said that he's made some best friends and that has helped him get through the tougher days. His call made my day and I can't wait for November!!!! :D

I got my first letter from my son yesterday, he's not much of a writer so the letter was pretty short.  Either way, I was still happy to get it!!

Yay! Glad to hear you got a letter!
