Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 023 and 024
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Ready to win Wacky Wednesday? :-) I keep refreshing the Facebook page... hopefully will catch it right when they post!
Dang it! I got it right when it posted and still wasn't the first to answer... folks are crazy quick!
I was still looking for 2 when winner was announced. I think we won't be looking to me to win this thing...lol But, I will keep trying :)
How do you view Wacky Wednesday? My son is in Div 023.
Hi Ladies! Thank you all for trying to win Wacky Wednesday...It seems we still may have a shot if someone in their brother division wins, right? (Fingers crossed!) We are from Austin, our daughter left on Oct 1st, and she will go to Maryland for Mass Communications. We will all be at PIR (myself, dad, and younger brother.) I am SO looking forward to meeting you all, at Sarge's Meet and Greet!!
DeborahRC: I would guess that by now our daughter's know each other! She's Ship 11 Div 024 also. :)
By the way, ellen0502, thank you SO MUCH for coordinating all this, and getting it up for those of us who are very lacking in computer/technical skills!!! I was thrilled to find a smaller group, all of whose kiddos will be marching on the same day! Thank you so much, all of your efforts, and wisdom, are GREATLY appreciated!!!
Are we allowed to post our kids' first names on here so we can ask them if they know each other when we talk to them?
Mine came last Saturday. I was shocked that he called 9 days in (instead of waiting the typical 3 weeks). He sounded good and had already received some of my letters.
Hello all..sort of on a different role on this group..my son's girlfriend is on Ship 11 DIV 024. My son is already active and stationed in Norfolk. It's always exciting to go through this journey with them! Her rate is MM with A school in Great Lakes.
