Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 023 and 024

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I got a letter from my son today. He said "our chief said her best division did Marlinspike in 16:15 with 3 safety violations... our division did it in 13:15 with 0 violations! She was so thrilled with us..."  He also said that if the division gets 4.8 average on their 2nd academic test tomorrow or on all of their inspections that they will get to go to "recruit heaven" for a day, most likely on Saturday... hope they all do well so we can get a phone call this weekend!

WOW addgrey- you are on a happy good news roll! first the winning of the picture then a letter!!  Can't wait to check my mail today!

haha! Yes, it has been a good couple of days! Tomorrow is my son's birthday, so I'll probably be a little sad tomorrow, but all is well and graduation feels close now that it is November!

addgrey: YOU ROCK GIRL!!!  Thank you, thank you, for being so vigilant and winning Wacky Wednesday for us!!  I've got your back at the meet and greet...I'm a big girl!! Your blue hair, my tattoos, and nose piercing...we may just scare everyone away ;)

So, do we know when the pictures will be posted?  I get all the emails of comments/questions, but I'm to dumb to figure out my "smart" phone, and post from said phone...thank you all for keeping everyone in the loop!!

One last observation...Chowdercall911 hasn't been on in a day, or two, and she's usually one of the quickest to answer...do we think maybe the newest member, of the USS Kearsarge, has arrived?!? Sending prayers and happy thoughts your way doll!!

Oh- that would be fabulous news! I love babies... especially when it is someone else having them :0))  Awesome MommaJ... will will be so scary- haha! It seems like the photos are posted sometime between Monday and Wednesday of the following week- I will let everyone know when I see it!

Oh my goodness you are right! she has not responded!  I am also sending good wishes and prayers.

unrelated random news- I just heard from a high school classmate last night and his son is in basic right now in the same ship and division as mine! Not sure if any of you are this SR's mom? SR's initials are RM from Colorado.

My daughter is Div 024 also. Has anyone heard from thier SR since Hell Week?!

I think 10/25 was the last time 024 called. Someone else might be able to tell you better- my son tends to call his girlfriend instead of me, but I think that is the last time he called her.

When they called on 10/25 they said they would not call back until three weeks correct? So they should be calling this Saturday??? Do we think so? Or no?

I am planning on no call until after Battlestations next week- but, this weekend would be nice!

Excited to hear from my son too!!!
