Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 045 and 046
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Good morning! Are any of you or any other families of 45/46 that you know of able to go to PIR?
My husband and I will be attending PIR.....can't wait!
The moms from 46 on the FB page are talking of getting together for a picture at PIR. For all I know, you guys are some of the same mom's, but I wanted to mention it.
Oh, yes, let's do it! Sounds like a great keepsake!
My eldest son and I will be attending. I will check out FB for more info. Thanks!
Hello Everyone!! So glad to have this community for support. My son seems to be doing well, but I am struggling. He had his wisdom teeth removed a few weeks ago and during the procedure his jaw locked up. It locked up again later in the evening and he was transported to the hospital off base. He is recovering, however, I just have to keep reminding myself that he is in excellent hands and that if anything major happens I will be notified. It is hard thinking that he might be going through something stressful like that and I am not able to 'pamper' him. Thanks for listening!
I totally feel for you! I was pretty nervous about my son getting his teeth out. I have to be reminded of the whole "no news is good news" too! I'm counting down the days until this part can be over. I'm looking forward to be able to at least text and call when I want!
Oh, Mamma Pinkie Pie - I'm so sorry. Yes, he is in good hands....I know it worries you to know he was in a hospital and you couldn't be there. But they take good care of them! Hopefully he can call again soon and tell you that all is ok!
By the way, extraction of wisdom teeth is a very common procedure at Bootcamp!
Thanks so much!!! Your kind words really help me feel better!
Thanks for the support!! I feel the same way. It is strange not being able to text him during the day and seeing him on the weekend.
