Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 801 and 802 (Brother Divisions)
Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).
sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.
Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.
Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.
We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there ladies!!!

Hi, I can't wait until PIR. Missing my son. I've received 2 letters from him and missed his phone call. :-(
Ok, I am confused about ribbons and candles??? What is the protocol on this? Any advise would be helpful. Thanks!
Hmmm.....purchasing ribbons/candles is totally up to you! The PIR ribbons are made by Lala Ribbon Queen (one of our N4Moms veterans on here) and many really like them. You can go to her page and see the piks, and contact her from there. Not sure if it is too late now to order them for your group....you will have to message her and see about that. You can message her from her page, and I think she has her actual website info posted there so you could contact her through her website too.
The candles are up to you! Any Navy Blue candle is good....some like to burn them during BattleStations, when their SR/sailor is taking a test, deployed, or just when you are thinking of your SR/Sailor! Just an outward sign that they are never "far away" from you in your thoughts!
prayermom: Did your SR by any chance mention when BattleStations is for the 800 divisions? If so, can you friend request/message me the date? We can't post it on the public pages. Thanks!
I have not been informed about Battlestation dates from my SR, but would love to know. I have only gotten information that he SHOULD have liberty after PIR through Sunday, but with reporting back every night. I was also told that none of this was set in stone yet. I too would appreciate any further details. Thanks to all!
Hi Terces,
I just sent you a friend request. Mine is 802 also. Any info you have would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Swimmom
Those with Liberty through Sunday would only be the ones staying in GL for A School. Those flying out most likely will fly out Fri, possibly Sat. All have to return to base at night, whether it is RTC or A School base.
