Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 061 and 062

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My daughter just got a letter from her brother's shipmate, initial's JW. He asked if she would correspond with him, so she is having fun collecting funny memes, and getting a card ready. If he belongs to you, what are his interests?

Merry Christmas, and I scoured every photo....twice! But didn't see their division. Hard not to be disappointed, but wow! The photographers did an amazing job at capturing so many recruits.

I spoke with my son Friday evening asked if they had been in his compartment to take pictures he said no I was so upset they said all the recruits but clearly didn't do their best to capture all of them was hoping for just one pic

Good morning, I hear you. I am so glad to hear you spoke to your SR. I am sorry they were not photographed. Looking forward to hopefully meeting you. Our boys must be going through a lot!

Blessings

Has anyone heard from the recruits for Christmas were just a little worried we haven't heard anything or didn't get a call yesterday

Is there a specific FB page for this division? I have only been looking at the RTC FB page. Please tell me if there is another. Thanks

Oh, hooray! Thank you!!!

Just got a ten second call from my SR in 061..."Hi Mom, I'm okay. Pray for me. I love you." Would love to know if anyone received any more detailed info. Happy Day-After-Christmas.

SR said their div ((61) had not had mail in the past couple weeks, but that they would likely get their mail Monday. He's had about an hour on the phone with his wife so far. Thankful he was able to call, but feeling sad they did not get the Christmas mail yet.

Yes, I think they received mail up until last week...perhaps it was just my SR who has not gotten his letters recently. He alluded to the trouble you mentioned. He thinks he will get mail Monday or Tuesday. Every word I read from you all here and on FB keeps me going. Praying for our loved ones.

No, navygirlfriend.  None of the divisions are allowed to mail out everyday....ever.  They mail out on Mondays only (collected on Sundays).  It is possible that your SR was WRITING everyday, but it wasn't being collected until Sundays.  They RECEIVE mail M-F though.

Yes my son told me the same thing so sad so close to PIR
