Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 089 and 090
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Our son is Ship 13 Div 090 and called yesterday too for about 15 minutes. He sounded good! Said that he had gotten some of our mail - we were so glad to talk to him. We were afraid we would miss his call!! We used every single second of the call until he had to hang up. It was just reassuring to hear from him! Casey
Our son is Ship 13 Div 090 also. Grateful for the phone calls. I'm so relieved now.
My son is Ship 13 div 090, he called yesterday for about 20 mins, it was the best phone call of my life, to hear his voice. He is so happy and said they started getting letters Christmas Eve and that he had sent 3 t us. I cant wait to get his letters. I miss him so much. I am not going to be able to go to PIR so it will be another 6 months after that before I get to see him. But he is healthy and sounds happier than I can remember for a long time.
My daughter got some letters from her brother today. Ship 13 Div 089. It made her so happy! She was also excited because she got one before me this time. Hopefully I will get a letter tomorrow. Its weird how the letters arrive on different days when they are all sent out on Sunday.
My son is on Ship 13 Marvin Shields Div 089 also....
So, I have a question. Are there more than one's son's or daughter on Ship 13 Marvin Shields that have the same Division #.
My nephew is.
Thank You if you replied to my question.. I'm thinking that maybe there's a group of SR's in each Division with same #...I'm just bearly comprehending the life in the military. When I spoke last week with my son, he told me that there were a lot....I can only imagine what he's going through.....I hope he's comfortable to changes...meaning...military life compare to the civilian life..
