Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 155 - 156
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

My daughter is in division 156. I received her call yesterday...bittersweet moment. We had about 10 minutes and she was so happy to talk with us also. She said they are so very busy and she did not know when she would call again but was surely looking forward to letters and was finally able to mail some she had written. Counting down the days... Proud of our Recruits !
our daughter is together! I have gotten her box and form letter but I haven't gotten a phone call yet. Hopefully it will be soon. I know you were so happy to hear her voice!
That's odd CVS didnt have them on the Gift Card rack. Try Walmart or Walgreens, my daughter took some with her, that she got from her going away party.
Just out of curiosity...does anyone know how the Caller ID looks when they call? Is it just a phone number, will it say Unknown...? I sometimes screen calls because I get a lot of sales calls and my husband uses his phone for work and we don't want to miss my son's call.
My son is in 155 - I'm anxious to hear from him.
the call that came in on Saturday said Waukegan IL area code 847, other posts say it might come over as government, or Private

I understand! Thank you for the info! I know it won't be the end of the world if I miss his call, but still.. Congratulations, by the way to you and your daughter. I would be bursting with pride if my daughter had joined the Navy. She must be some kind of tough!
