Hey!

My fiance graduated bootcamp a year ago on the 21st so i'm pretty sure what will happen for you that weekend is similar if not the exact same thing that happened to us.

You may or may not get the weekend with him, it depends on where he's being sent to school and when his flight is set for. If he is going to school in Great Lakes he will more than likely have to report there immediately and i'm unsure if you'll get the weekend together. My Fiance, then boyfriend, was sent to Pensacola, FL for school and his flight didn't leave until Sunday afternoon so we were able to spend the weekend together. If your husband does get to spend the weekend with you he will have to report back to his barracks at a specific time in the evening and he isn't supposed to take his phone with him. But, you can pick him up whenever he is released in the morning on Saturday and spend the whole day with him until he has to check back in, that is if his flight isn't until Sunday. If his flight is saturday, You are allowed to meet him at the airport and spend time with him there until he leaves. It all simply depends on where he is going and when his flight it.

You will know where he's going to school after his graduation. Some sailors find out where they're going to school earlier so you may find out sooner but in my experience Bryan didn't know until the day of Graduation. Also, If you're wanting to know where he will be permanently stationed after school, He won't know that until he is almost finished with his A-school.

Hope this helps and isn't too confusing!

Thanks for help Mush Needed... But i know that he is going to school in Great Lakes. He Knew that When he Got to BC. And when he wrote me he told me this week he will find out whr he would be station But i Was Confused ... I dont know glad i havr help from other wives
Like AbigaeLanai said, you won't know about how long you can see him for until the day of graduation. I know the guys who stay in great lakes usually have to wait up to four hours or sometimes more to complete the processing for their A school but some don't have to wait that long it just depends. You won't find out his duty station until the tail end of his A school. Some go to C school afterwards so it just depends on where they need him when the time comes.
And congradulations! Enjoy your time in GL. It goes by fast but it's so exciting to see your hubby after such a long time. Haha my husband lost 20 pounds in bootcamp!
Thank You!. I An So Ready ro See Him!Very Pround of Him!. Spendind time with him or Not Just Happy to see Him!this Has Been the Longest 2months EVER!. I Hope He Gained wait He Was 135 before he left

You will more than likely get the weekend together. :) My husband was in a school at great lakes too. However, the day of graduation we only got to see him for about an hour and then he was gone for several hours checking in and we had to wait back at the hotel for him. He then got a few more hours that night and had to report back by 9 or 10pm. Saturday and Sunday we could pick him up early in the morning and would drop him back off at night. He will not be allowed to spend the night at a hotel with you. How long is his a school? My husbands was 5 weeks and he found out his duty station after 3 weeks.
