Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 155 - 156
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Hoping letters were sent out Sunday, my son said they were going to write on Sunday. Lets hope we get those letters by the end of the week.
5 letters were delivered today!!! 4 for me and 1 for the sister!!!
she started writing Sunday the 1st, and the last letter was dated 3/14. She for the most part LOVES BOOT CAMP! Is home sick, but knows she is going to do great things with her life, and can push on!!! her letters made me LOL and cry....she likes the food, passed all her tests, and will carry the flag for our division (if all goes well) I hope letters have come your way.....keep writing :)
My son is in 156. I missed his call on Saturday...still kicking myself...crummy day. But I got to see a picture of him on Tuesday posted on U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command on facebook. That made my day!
Are any of you on the FB pages as well as this page?
Im in the 3 on FB too......This website is always opened.....never know when I think of something new to search!! the navy dads, and deps websites are full of information as well!!! I like to do research, so I don't look foolish!! I'm starting to pick my brain for ideas on centerpieces and the basket for the meet & greet! door posters for the hotel (need 2 make 2 we have 2 rooms) 30 days.....is going to go by quickly, hopefully
I don't think I will make a "basket" probably stuff everything inside a bag, for easy suitcase packing. I'm driving so I can throw my stuff in the car.....folks flying may have more of a challenge packing a basket!
I'm going to go to the local teacher store to see if they have anything "anchor" related for the door poster. If not, I'll stick with stars and flags :)
Got my first letter today from my son, so excited!!! Mail moves slow from there. He is in ship 11 Div 156, looking forward to more letters. Hope everyone receives a letter soon.
My son is in division 156. I was so happy when I received a call from my son last weekend. I have sent him four letters. I'm not sure if he will get one of them, since it was a large envelope with the sports page enclosed. I would not have sent it if I would have known he was not allowed to have it. I am so looking forward to seeing him next month. I haven't received any letters from him, but it's alright. He normally doesn't write letters. All that matters is that I know that he loves me and he knows that I love him. As long as I can write him and encourage him, I will continue to do so. Hang in there Navy for moms. All of the support on this website has help me a lot. Thank you!
got a call today Sunday from my girl! she sounded sooooo good. She requested stamps and cash for NEX runs! Life is Good! :)
Got another call this afternoon, hes doing good outside of having a cold. He said they might beable to call again next weekend. So proud of him.
