Hello Momstuy, You may get the form letter today. I just received it on Sat afternoon and my SR arrived 3/17. There are so many variables as to when you get form letter. No news is good news. Trust me I can relate that those are just words and may not seem to help but 20+ years ago when my Navy boyfriend( now husband) was in RTC- I had to hear those words often. Not knowing facts is tough but I am betting you get form letter today or tomorrow. Trust your mama instincts as they have never let me down and stay strong. Praying you hear something today. :) MamaRete

Thanks, MamaRete. I'm a planner and not being able to jump on board with the PIR group and start out planning is what drives me nuts.  haha

Thanks again. :)

I can totally relate to that! I am such a planner myself. I even prepare a Plan A, Plan B, and sometimes even a Plan C. Haha. Make a cancelable hotel reservation if it makes you feel better. You can always change dates if your SR is pushed back a week. :)

so...got my form letter today...took 7 days according to postmark...feel really bad my son isn't going to get letters for several days...well when he does, he'll get a ton!

question--he put mom, nanny, unc steve, etc...on form letter...I just wrote him to let him know his gmaw can't go- she's spry for 78, but tires easily and a few back issues worries her about walking, standing and sitting for a while--can my son change her to someone else IF there is 4 tickets, if it's 3 its fine...but would like his step-dad to get to go, too. sorry so long a post

He will not be giving the names for the Access List until 3 to 10 days before PIR, so there is plenty of time to let him know the names of the 4 people who will be able to attend that he should write down when the time comes. There are no tickets, it's the names on the Access List.

Also, it's fine the way he wrote the names for you since those are for you and he knows you know who those people are. He will write then names on the Access List with full names, but if you are concerned he may not know someone's full name, just list the four names for him as he should write them on the Access List so he will have them when the time comes.

My SR said the list can change till a few days before but you need to write your son and tell him exactly who's coming. Just explain in the letter nanny could not handle all the walking and you could have someone with a computer or smartphone assist her in watching the live feed from the comfort of home. Your son will need to change the 4th name to your husband as all guests need to match final list. Everyone needs photo IDs to prove they are who the SR put on guest list. So yes it can be changed but your son has to Be the one to give final guests full names. Yayy happy you got your letter btw, Rete

thanks lemon and mama!  oh AND the handwriting on the envelope and form letter was spectacular!!  I've NEVER seen him write so well!! lol  positive change already!!!

Haha, same here! Too funny!

:o)

I finally got my form letter!! PIR 5/15!!!

Hooray, so happy for you. Nice way to start off the week!

Thank you! This made my day!!!!!
