Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 179 - 180

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Will do, diannep! She did not sound concerned about it on the phone, it was me that was super disappointed. I had a good cry in the car this morning on my way to work, talked to God about it, and decided He has got her back! She said she wrote me a letter about it, so I expect to get something around Thursday. I won't gossip, but will let you know how it gets resolved.
The move "across the hall" was really a move "across the aisle" and the drama has cooled considerably. Nothing to report. Just a couple of groups starting rumors about the other and getting the entire Div into trouble with the RDC's. The rack switch calmed everything down, although she says she doesn't talk much to this group.. Still gets to interact and see best friend and is bunking next to other friend : )
Thank you ellen0502, I am feeling much better about this this afternoon. ; )

Good morning my daughter just called to let me know she is  out of recovery and has been moved to Div. 179 so I'm new to this group. Hello everyone :)

my daughter didn't give me the new zip when she called  can someone tell me the zip please?

she had stress fracture in her leg but she is doing much better now

hi Rissasmom, I pray your daughter is doing well. My son just had wisdom teeth pulled out yesterday and I hope he is not in alot of pain. He is in Div. 179 also.

can someone tell me which week Div 180 is starting on Monday? is it 5-1?
I would also like to know? I keep hearing about hell week? What is that exactly? I wonder if we will get calls this weekend.
Just talked with daughter.. Div 179-180 finish 3-4, 3-5 on Monday/Tuesday and start Hell Week mid week on Wednesday. Since they are in a push division, they started a few days behind because they were waiting for enough recruits to fill the integrated div she is in. They worked with non-live fire yesterday and she got an injury to her hand webbing (it got caught in the chamber). She called it a "baretta-bite". They also got fitted for both dress uniforms past week as pictures are in Week 4.
Hello all! Daughter gave me the dates of 179-180's Battle Stations 21
