Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 179 - 180

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

What was the date that she gave you?  My son is in division 180 .. He didnt tell us when BS 21 was when he called last week.  We are expecting a call this weekend.

Mammag, I just sent you a friend Request with the dates, because they aren't allowed to be published. You can accept the request or ignore it - I won't be offended!

Good Morning. Did any of you moms hear from your SR's this past weekend? I am worried I did not get a call from mine. I figure they might be busy with Graduation next week. Well heading off to work will check in this afternoon. You all have a blessed day!

No calls that I'm aware of Seansmom.

thanks AzMom. I am so excited to see him next week. My hubby and I will be driving from Florida.

No calls this weekend. But I suppose they are just trying to catch up since graduation is so close. I am so anxious to see my son. We are also coming from Florida @Seansmom but we are flying in on Thursday. Can't wait!!

what part of Florida? we are on the Panhandle. Destin. We will arrive on Thursday. We have family in Chicago and we will be staying with them. 45min. drive to Great Lakes.

I am hoping we all hear from them this weekend after Captain's Cup! Really just wondering how they did on their PFT, since so many are worried they won't be eligible to take BS21. Just curious, if they have to retest on their PFT, will there be time before they go to BS21?

I too hope to hear from my son this weekend. Even the letters stopped coming. A little worried at this point. Sorry but what is PFT and BS21?

Seansmom, PFT is the recruits physical Fitness Test that must be passed in order to go to BS21 or Battle Stations 21- the simulator training and final exam- you tube has a wonderful 7 minute video on Battle Stations 21 - look for the video by Craig-PIR gifts
According to a mom on the Facebook PIR page all of DIV 177 passed their Battle Stations!!! Bravo Zulu Div 177!!!
All recruits in 180 passed Battle Stations! Only 1 in 179 will need to retake, and will most certainly pass!
