Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 217 and 218

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hello. My SR is Ship 4 Div 217.

Hello all My SR is on Ship 4 Div 217. I just got my first set of letters from him so thrilled, they mailed out on 5/12. Hopefully everyone else will receive mail soon. All seems to be going well, he mentioned they were up for 40 hrs, but it was all good. They go into "hell week" (week 4) this next week, firearms, and drill ect. I can't believe they are already almost 1/2 way. We are in New England would love to hear from the other moms and what they are hearing from their SRs.

Can someone explain "Brother Divisions"?

Brother division are the two divisions that train together from the start clear through BS together. Every regular division has a brother division. The 800 and 900 divisions only have a brother division when there are two 800 or two 900 divisions in the same TG.
