My son left Tuesday May 26th. I have faith in him that he will do great. I miss him already.

My daughter left yesterday too. maybe they will be in the same division. I will be traveling to Chicago for graduation. My heart is heavy. I miss her tremendously. I am sure you feel the same way. Where did he ship from?
Tampa, FL
Alex's_Mom ,
Dakota will be in Pensacola for A school. She is super excited about that. I have just been on the RTC Facebook page. Apparently, they post random pictures of recruits, I know ours aren't there yet but it can be something we can look forward to!
jaysmom1995,
That is a long way from home. Wow, but maybe you can go visit. In the fall, I hear the foliage is fantastic that time of year :) I plan on visiting Dakota in Pensacola. I think that will be a great place to visit. And our kids will be able to get a hold of us every night if they want to. :) We can Skype! Super proud of our kiddos.!
Jay's Mom,
Let it out. Then take a deep breath and cry some more. I think it's because we know.... they will never live with us again.... no longer dependent... completely gone from the nest. But that is okay... they will always be our babies. Next chapter starts now. What to do?
I will actually have another one shipping to boot camp in Sept. (22nd). So, I better figure out how to survive huh? lol
Hi Jay's Mom, Alex's Mom and Dakota's Mom,
I received my first form letter on Wednesday from my son, Jacobe, who left on May 14th. I was so excited! However, yesterday, I was on the RTC Facebook page and I saw a picture of my son! Out of 120 pictures, about 1/2 way in to looking at the pictures, I saw him! I was so excited to see him so just keep looking for your children...they will appear out of nowhere! I'm just tickled pink and relieved that he is ok!!!!
That must have been an exciting moment! So happy for you :) I'm going to be keeping my eyes peeled for my son who just left on May 26th! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Dakota's Mom. Where did your daughter leave from? I will also be attending PIR.
JakesMom,
Sorry, I am in Amarillo, Texas. We had storms last night so I was offline. She left on Tuesday from here. I am still trying to figure this website out. I have been trying to add you as a friend. .... do you know how? lol
It will be great if we have the same PIR date.
