Hello ladies. So my husband has been gone for a week and man oh man do I miss him. Specially when my little one she is 4 asks for him. Its hard being a single mom but I have to get use to it. Any other ladies have husbands leave this time as well??? I feel like my family just doesn't understand what I'm going through and I just need someone to talk to that won't tell me to just get over it. Sorry for the venting.... Thanks again for anything back :)

Hi Stacy.  My best friend also left last week too and it's very hard :( I can only imagine how it is with a little one missing him too. I think one of the hardest things is that others definitely don't understand it drops of their radar quickly while its always on yours. It's like they literally disappear off the face of the earth for a while, but you know where they are and that they are doing something great which does make it a little easier!

Have you gotten the Form Letter yet? My SR is sending his to his family obviously so I'm still waiting to hear.

I finally received the form letter so I just sent out the 4 letters I did. Lol but thank you for the kind words
Yay! I'm so glad you got it. I got my friends address this evening from his mom. I'll be sending out a few tomorrow. It's uncanny how much better you feel just having an address. He's in DIV 257.
Thank you for the kind words. I'm taking one day at a time
Hey Stacy,
My husband actually left for boot camp June 3rd as well, and it definitely is an adjustment. It's really hard going from contact all the time and sleeping next to him every night, to absolutely nothing from him!
I think people say those things because it might be hard for them to relate or because they really don't know how to help, as good as their intentions are.
But to put it simply, it sucks. For me there are good days and bad days (especially when my pregnancy hormones are messing with me) and on the bad days I just let it suck for a bit, then pat myself on the back and do something that makes me feel good! That can be taking a bath, going for a walk, cooking a good meal or reading a book. Then I usually feel better. Can't wait for graduation though, when is yours?
Thank you so much for feeling the same way lol.His graduation is July 31st and you???
My husband left June 3 too and I've been on emotional roller coaster as well. There are amazing spouses on here that are supporting each other very much. We are all here for you! Hang in there girl! We're only getting closer to the PIR day!
