Fiance with lots of questions...

Hey guys, so my fiancé left for boot camp on July 1st. Its been very hard for me ever since considering the fact that we were always together and always had contact with each other. its driving me crazy not being able to talk to him, especially since I have lots of questions. I was hoping you guys could help me with the answers to some of them.

1. Is only one letter sent out with the information on how to write him and graduation? or will of had the option to send it to me and his mom?

2. We had hoped to get married after boot camp and before A school, which I believe is called PIR weekend. His A school is in great lakes so he wont be leaving and we will have that weekend. I have been reading though and read a lot or comments saying that he can get in trouble if he does and others saying he has to request a CHIT? Has anyone got married there the weekend of their boot camp graduation with any advice? or further info?

3. I need/want to be on his orders for when he gets stationed, how do we make that happen? Is there a wait time? For instance, do we need to be married a certain amount of days before I can be put on his orders? Also what happens if I am not placed on his orders in time, am I not allowed to go?

4. His A school is only 4 weeks long, will he be allowed off base during any of that time or will he be in what I think is called phase 1 (?) the whole time and not allowed off?

well, at the moment I cant remember my other questions so this is it for now. Please let me know of any experiences you have had with these situations and any info you can provide. Thank you so much in advance.

1. Only one letter.

2. They are told not to marry PIR weekend, but some couples do.  The shorter schools tend to be more lax about it.  The Lake county clerk office will have info.  You have to get the license on Friday, and marry on Saturday.  

3.  To be on the orders, you simply need to be married and have the paperwork done in time for the detailer to see orders need to be cut for an accompanied sailor.  There's an online form your sailor would do when everything else gets done.  There is no waiting period.  However, his A school is only four weeks?  PACT program?  BM?  There is a decent chance he will have been issued orders during boot camp.  It happens with short schools as it takes about four weeks for them to work on the orders.  Don't be surprised if that happens.  If he gets orders anywhere in the US, you may move there, it is a free country.  Just that the Navy won't pay for it.  Start a moving/new place fund, you will need it in any case.  If he gets overseas orders, even if married, you cannot go with him.  He has to be an E-4 for that and that takes a couple years.

4.  Don't know.  No one with that experience have returned to post about it or answer questions.  He may have a weekend curfew the entire time and no overnights.

Hi! So I can offer some insight on his a school. My husband is a BM and had a 4 week school in GL (one week wait time beforehand) back in 2012. He phased up super quickly. I went to visit him in week two or three and he was already phase 3. Phase 3 allowed him to request a chit to stay in a hotel off base with me all weekend. He had just gotten his orders as well. So yes, he will be allowed off base as long as he does what he needs to and phases up.

Even if you get married during PIR, I don't think it will be soon enough to get him accompanied orders with you included. It might be worth a shot, but yes he can get in trouble for doing it during PIR. However, you can still go with him as long as the orders are not overseas. They just won't pay for you to move, you'll have to foot the bill yourself. Once he arrives at the duty station, he can fill out paperwork showing he is married and requesting to live with you and receive BAH. So you could visit him once he hits phase 3 and get married then, or right after he graduates school. He should get some leave time between school and arriving at a duty station, my husband had 2 weeks off.
