Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 936
Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

I have not received a call in 10 days!!
(copied and pasted from duplicate discussion)
Mandysmom - I'm wondering if the "no calling" is something that this entire division is dealing with. I have always received a call from my SR each Sunday, but I didn't get one this past Sunday either! I'm hoping that I will at least get a letter from him tomorrow that may shed some additional light on whats going on.
So sorry! If it helps, I feel your frustration - we have had only one call and two letters. The last letter was dated the Father's day Sunday and my son said that he couldn't call because he was SIQ with strep throat, as were lots of the SRs in his div. Plus, I think many of them have practice for a few hours on what is normally free time for other divs. The upside consolation for most of us 900 moms is that we will get to see them perform online the next 2 PIRs starting this Friday :)!!
I have not had a call for 11 days also but received a great long letter from her. She gave me a map of where to sit for graduation, if we can choose where to sit. I saw a picture of her at trhe graduation today.
Thanks for the heads up, I didn't know they would have graduation early! If that's your (gorgeous) SR in the middle of the group photo, mine is just next to her on her right :)
Happy Birthday! We got a surprise call Friday (grand total of two now, haha) My son is in drumline.
Oh I'm glad I'm not the only one binge watching the graduation video! It's so great to see them! My son is the one on the glockenspiel (which he's never played before and is not usually a Navy drumline instrument - so I was really confused for a while until I saw him;) Is your SR in band, which instrument? To be honest, I'll probably watch it again, lol
OMG! That's your son, he is amaaaaazing!! We have been loving his solos :) Mine has never played in a band or any band instrument, but sings and loves to arrange music. He told me he arranged the four pieces they play, but it's supposed to be a surprise for us (shhh!) The only other letter we got from him was a lengthy request for song lyric sheets to pass out to his shipmates - so maybe there's another surprise in store for us ?
