Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 293 and 294

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Ship 12 Rocks!  My son will be an AG heading to Biloxi Miss for A-School

I agree! This is the ship my son was in during BC, so I am a little biased. :)

My son on Ship 12 div 294. Can't wait to hear how it's going.
My son is also in ship 12 div 293 he will also be staying in GL for A School he is going for (EN) can't wait for PIR so excited
Hi. Has anyone heard any info how div 294 is doing. Have not received any letters from my son yet. Anxious to hear how it's going. Can't wait til pir!
I received my first hand written letter today.Im so glad to know my SR is doing good.He said that they haven't done a lot yet but he is ready and that he still loves his momma.I cried the whole time I read it he is in ship 12 div 293 but still have not received a call

I got mine yesterday as well! Just seeing his handwriting brought tears to my eyes! He said that the first week was pretty rough, not the PT but the mental part of it. He said that this week was going much smoother! I had to laugh when he said that he couldn't poop :) I remember my oldest son having the same problem there because of the food. 42 days!! Woohoo...Div 293!!

Ok can some one help me I read where division 293 are having some trouble and we're asked to pray for the girls my son is in division 293 do the men and women train together

Integrated divisions do train together, and don't worry too much about the "troubles". They have just started training and right now it is very common to hear the divisions is having issues. No worries...About training week four things seem to turn around for them all. The females seem to have a few more personality conflicts with each other, but this too will pass, I promise. :)

Ellen0502 thank you again
Hello, my daughter is in DIV 293. I got her letter and a phone call from her yesterday. She said the girls keep getting into trouble and she is getting frustrated. I spoke to her for 4 minutes (I checked my phone). She is home sick but doing well.

Hi All sorry I have been MIA- work a full time job, adjusting to life as an emptynester, and keeping my promise of losing weight while my SR is in BootCamp.  I was 274 pounds the day he shipped... not hopping on the scale yet-  I got my first letter, and a 10 min call!  he had his wisdon teeth out, and is doing good-  He loves bootcamp.  I will be going to Sarges Meet and Greet as long as I am there in time.  We are driving from PA.  I am staying at the Navy Lodge... Hooyah!  3 wednesdays down, 5 more to go until I leave for PIR
