Hello everyone.

I am new to this site and this is my first time. I have reading some post and wanted to ask few question. How can I book to Navy Lodge is this open to all with son/daughter who will have a PIR.

Mine is set on Aug. 21 but I have not made any booking or arrangement as she said not to book anything yet.  Can someone provide more information on what to do and expect.

I just got her letter yesterday 1st time. Got a call 2 weeks ago so she's with RTC for almost 4 weeks now.  thank you all in advance.

Hi! Welcome to the Navy family! I am booked at Navy Lodge for my sons 8/7 PIR. I did it online, was very easy. I do suggest going ahead and reserving ( you can cancel easily if you need to) because they tend to book up fast. I set my reservation through Sunday since we do not know when he will actually fly out until the week of PIR, that is when all recruits will get their flight orders. Look around the site, it has great information. Also, look on facebook for your PIR group, this will also be a good source of info.  The Admins on this site are great so don't hesitate to ask questions. Good luck to you and your daughter.

Jocy, check your My Page.

Yes, you can book at the Navy Lodge--if they still have a room. Your recruit, later Sailor, will be your sponsor. Don't wait, BOOK NOW.

See the info in Saving Money PIR Weekend and PIR Day and Liberty during PIR Weekend to help you plan your weekend.

Thank you all..sorry I was busy earlier and just go the chance to check the site again just now. will check all these details you  have provided.

We stayed at Navy Lodge 3.5 years ago for my son's PIR. We called them directly and booked the rooms. We booked it as soon as we had the date, knowing that we could cancel it. One thing to remember with the Navy is that the only constant is change! If you book a flight and have to change it there is a charge unless you book with Southwest. They don't charge for the change, just the difference (if there is one) in the price of the ticket. Welcome to the wonderful roller coaster of being a Navy Mom!
