Hi all,  my babygirl left for bootcamp on the 27th.  Anyone's kid leave than?  I got the last call that evening about 10:30pm and my heart just broke.  "The Box" arrived Thursday.  Waiting now for her letter with dates and info in.  I'm retired military now I know what my parents went through so many years ago.

I received the letter today my husband said she is on ship 03 division 316. I joined PIR 9/18/15 but is there a war to see photos of them in their division and should I try to find specifically  for the PIR date, ship and division to connect with. If so she is the best site to do that. I see some have links to their division via fb how do I do that. Again thank you so much for your help I am getting the hang of the slowly but surly

Stay away from the fB pages except for https://www.facebook.com/NavyRecruitTrainingCommand. There will be a discussion within PIR 09/18/2015 TG 45 for Divisions 315 and 316 once we are certain of the divisions in the TG. Divisions 315 and 316 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 (BST) together, so look for others with loved ones in either division.

Our daughter flew out on the 27th.  We got her "I'm here" call about 2130.  I was very surprised she was able to call that early.  My wife, Amy, was thrilled.  We received her box on Monday.  We live out in the boonies so I wasn't too disappointed.  My wife actually got a call from her earlier today with a question about her security clearance!  Amy said she sounded tired and could tell someone was standing over her.  She did have a chance to hurriedly yell "Love You and hang in there".  Her reply, "oh mom!" and hung up.  From that silly little response I know our daughter will be fine and a sailor in no time at all.

Dean, check your My Page.

HI Dean,  you will have to let me know what SHIP/DIV she got maybe our girls are together?  Ship 03 Div 315 is what my girl got.

Yep, they are bunking together. We got the form letter today.

OH cool.  Can we private msg each other on here.  If so send me her last name and I'll ask my girl in my next letter which will probably be tomorrow.  I already mailed two today.  They were ready with stamps waiting for an address, which I thought today would never come.

You have to be friends to send PM's through the site. Click on Dean's profile pic to be taken to his My Page and then click "+Add as Friend" under his profile pic on his My Page. Once he accepts your friend request (or you his) then yo can send PM's.

Hi everyone. My husband left on the 27th as well. The last phone call was at 2:30am. Only lasted about 30 sec. All he told me was that they had just arrived at Great Lakes, and he really had to pee but was afraid to ask lol. Got "the box" on Thursday. I just got a phone call from him!!! It was another quick call just telling me he needed me to send him a copy of my I.D to enroll us in DEERS. couldn't really get to ask him anything because they were telling him to hurry. :( but at least I got to hear his voice and know he is ok :)and now I know he is in ship 13 div.314. Anyone else out there with family member in the same division?

Mary, I left info for you on your My Page.

You're the first indicating ship 13 div 314...i'm going to try mailing anyhow to that one!!

Traceykj, I think you should contact his recruiter first. My son arrived the same day as yours and he is Division 319. Another mom I talked to says her son also had the same arrival date and he is Division 320.
