Well our daughter isn't on speaking terms with us so we won't be getting the call! Not sure who will. We are trying to be as involved as we can by just finding out information from other people. We will continue to support her but it's so hard know that call is going to someone else!
Kelly
She will be ok. I went through boot camp and now my daughter is there with yours. The next few days will be the hardest for our girls. Remember no news is good news. ❤️

Lulu I am still waiting...... it's been two hours since he text me. This is crazy, the waiting.

Yep - all I can think is they didn't leave O'Hare like he thought they would.

Hooray I just got my call. It was soooo scripted almost robot like. But at least I know he safe. Thanks for staying on with me!

Wonderful.

Awesome!!

Ok, so today I keep checking my phone today hoping that I DON'T hear from my daughter. My thought is no news is good news. As long as she makes it through the first couple of days she will be fine. They are the hardest.  What a roller coaster ride. Thinking of all of our recruits today.

Today I decided to finish cleaning his room which might not have been the best idea but as my friend said I might as well just pull the bandaid HAHAHA
and yes Molliesproudmama I feel the same about my phone ringing. I know they will all do terrific! I have also found myself reading my what to expect each day at boot camp and thinking ok this is what they might be doing now. And I figure they have probably already had their moment of truth time so hooray!
Everyone have a great day!
Piglet,
I'm just not ready to go through her room just yet. I found myself in her room this afternoon after work sitting on her bed crying. I think I'll wait until this weekend to tackle it. They should be able to sleep finally which makes me at ease. I'm like you I'm trying to find week by week schedules of what they will be doing. Did you happen to find any good links?

First day down! Whoop whoop
Kerrie

A Day by Day schedule from a few years ago and more can be found in Arrival and What Happens at the RTC.

Currently I am using the Processing Days - "P-days" PDF. It is 71 pages and walks you through each day from yesterday through day 5, I Love it!!  Today when they were supposedly eating I had lunch too, I know kinda silly but it made me feel like I was with him.  Today was also the "moment of truth" day - I'm sure he didn't stand up and say this wasn't what he wanted so another hurdle down.  I think I found this document on the main page where it talks about Boot Camp. Right now it's about 9pm at GL and based on this document they actually should be sleeping.  This is longest night they get sleep it says from about 20:00-05:30. So in theory our kiddos should be sleeping right now.
