Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Mine is Ship 13 Division 336 - and yes I hope I get to meet all these great people on here for PIR. We will fly in Thursday morning so we can go to the Sarge's Meet and Greet Thursday evening.

Piglet, my daughter's recruiter said he still can't pull her address up! :(

Sometimes recruiters say that when the person asking for the address is not on the forms to be able to get the address.

Hang in there Momma you'll have it soon. I know it's hard. Just keep writing and having them ready then you can slam her with letters!
I've been missing my kid so I went back to working out today! I can tell I'm mentally stronger already.

sparkiel, the form letters go out in the order that the divisions are filled and her division is the first division in the 10/09/2015 TG and loved ones are still receiving the form letters for the 10/02/2015 TG. You should be receiving The Form Letter soon--ten days after arrival is average and that is tomorrow. Integrated divisions sometimes take longer to fill than the all male divisions, so sometimes it takes close to 14 days for the form letter to arrive for those in an integrated division.

Lemonelelephant, can you tell me how you figured out that sparkiels daughter is the first division in the 10/9/15. I just can't understand that whole process no matter how many times I reread it

From http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/upcoming_grads.asp we know that the 10/02/2015 TG contains 11 Divisions (327-336 and 947). That means that DIV 337 is the first regular division in the 10/09/2015 TG.
